LC Swim Teams Split at North Central
 

[January 19, 2018]    The Lincoln College Swimming & Diving teams were in action last Saturday at North Central College. The men’s team defeated North Central in overall scoring 77 to 37 while the women’s team came up short, losing to NCC 38 to 65.

Highlights from the event for LC included winning the Men’s 200 Yard Relay, Kalen Erye (Fiji) and Logan Santiago (Bedford, MI) finishing first and second in the Men’s 50 Yard Freestyle, and Kankakee High School grad Kenzie Chalifoux’s victories in both the 500 and 1000 Yard Women’s Freestyle events.

Lincoln Head Swim Coach Jonathan Jordan said, “Although North Central College is a team that we have not had to struggle with to defeat this year, this meet proved to be the opposite. The team gave it their best, but may have been a little too sore and tired from training.”

Lincoln will be in action next on January 18th at the Lewis University Invite.
