Logan County hosts IF:Gathering for women Saturday, February 10th

[January 25, 2018]   LINCOLN - Women of all ages are invited to attend the IF:Gathering of Logan County on February 10th at the Elks Lodge in Lincoln. The day-long event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to wrap up at approximately 6 p.m.

Tens of thousands of women worldwide will participate in an interdenominational event for women of all ages called IF:Gathering on February 9th and 10th via a live stream from a sold out event in Austin, Texas. With a variety of cultures and denominations represented, these women hold one thing in common: they want to live like God is real.

The IF:Gathering provides space for women to wrestle with essential questions of faith, to dream, and to connect during a two-day gathering.

In Lincoln, local leaders are hosting a live stream gathering, and women from the area are invited to join IF:Lincoln on February 10th, as part of this international event.

IF:Gathering exists to gather, equip, and unleash this generation of women to live out their calling. The non-profit was born out of a God-given vision from Jennie Allen, the author of Restless and Nothing to Prove. Allen founded a global community out of the desire to gather this generation of women by creating a pure, honest space to wrestle with the essential question: IF God is real, THEN what?

In its first four years, IF:Gathering has reached more than 1.2 million women in more than 120 countries. IF:Gathering provides a daily online discipleship tool, IF:Equip, to help women know God more deeply.

By partnering with organizations like Food for the Hungry, IF:Gathering is coming alongside women around the world, fostering relationships, and utilizing women’s God-given gifts to not only transform hearts; but also leave a tangible impact on the entire world.
