LINCOLN
Lincoln Community Theatre sponsored a theatre workshop for youth
second through ninth grades this past week. The workshop held at St.
John United Church of Christ gave youth learning and performance
experience.
Younger children, second through fourth grades met from 9 a.m. to
12:30 p.m., while grades fifth through ninth met the full day,
Monday through Friday.
During camp the students learned basic stage terms and skills.
At the end of the week both groups enjoyed a pizza party and final
dress rehearsal. Then on Friday at 6:30 p.m. they gave a performance
for family and friends.

On Saturday morning the groups gave one more performance at the ALMH Market Day
held at the Logan County Fairgrounds for the public to enjoy. Selections from
the musical 'Sing' brought roaring cheers from the audience that packed the
Lincoln Stage area.
