[July 05, 2018]    The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to re-sign big man Amir Johnson on a one-year deal, according to multiple reports on Wednesday.

According to a Sports Illustrated report, Johnson's deal will be for the veteran's minimum, which will be worth around $2.4 million for the 13th-year veteran. He joined the Sixers last season on a one-year, $11 million pact.

Johnson, 31, averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game across 74 games (18 starts) in 2017-18, his lowest marks since the 2008-09 campaign. He has career averages of 7.2 points and 5.5 rebounds in 819 games (479 starts) with the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics and 76ers.

Johnson joins JJ Redick in re-signing this week with Philadelphia, which also acquired forward Wilson Chandler from the Denver Nuggets in a trade on Tuesday.
