[July 17, 2018]  Center Adam Henrique and the Anaheim Ducks have agreed to a five-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.

The contract will run through the 2023-24 season. It is worth $29.1 million, according to multiple reports.

Last November, the Ducks acquired the 28-year-old Henrique, along with Joseph Blandisi and a 2018 third-round draft pick, from New Jersey for defenseman Sami Vatanen and a conditional draft pick. In the 2017-18 season, Henrique scored 24 goals and 26 assists in 81 games combined with the two teams.

Henrique has four 20-goal seasons in his career, scoring a career-best 30 in the 2015-16 season. The Devils selected him with the No. 82 overall pick in the 2008 draft.

--The Calgary Flames signed forward Elias Lindholm to a six-year, $29.1 million contract that brings a $4.85 million annual salary cap hit.

Lindholm, 23, was acquired on June 23 along with Noah Hanifin in a deal that sent defensemen Dougie Hamilton and Adam Fox and forward Micheal Ferland to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Lindholm had 16 goals and 28 assists in 81 games last season, giving him 64 goals and 124 assists in 374 games in five seasons with Carolina. However, he has yet to reach 20 goals in a season.

--The Nashville Predators re-signed goaltender Juuse Saros to a three-year contract and forward Ryan Hartman to a one-year deal.

Saros' deal is worth $4.5 million, while Hartman will earn $875,000 next season. Both had been restricted free agents.

Saros, 23, posted an 11-5-7 record with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage last season, making the NHL's all-rookie team while backing up Vezina Trophy winner Pekka Rinne. Hartman, 23, finished the season with three goals and three assists in 21 games with the Predators.

--The Toronto Maple Leafs signed defenseman Rasmus Sandin to a three-year entry-level contract.

The Swedish 18-year-old was the 29th overall pick by the Maple Leafs in the draft in June.

Sandin had 12 goals and 33 assists in 51 regular season games with Sault Ste. Marie of the Ontario Hockey League last season, earning OHL First All-Rookie Team honors. He added a goal and 12 assists in 24 games during the playoffs.
