LINCOLN
Those looking for an activity on a shoestring budget have two
choices this Saturday, July 21. The ALMH Community Health
Collaborative is providing a community bike ride and a free yoga
class to anyone in the community.
Cyclists of all ages and skills are invited to join the next
community bike ride of the season. Guided by ALMH Hospitalist Hal
Mohammed, MD, the ride will begin at a new time to avoid high
temperatures. Instead of 10am, the ride will begin at 7:15am and be
approximately 5 miles long throughout the City of Lincoln.
Interested individuals should meet at The ALMH Market located at the
Logan County Fairgrounds. Monthly rides will continue on August 25
and September 15.
The courthouse lawn will be the site of a free community yoga class
taught by Caitlin Lore at 8:30am on Saturday, July 21. This gentle
yoga class will help improve flexibility and provide an opportunity
for mindfulness. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and
water. No registration required is required for either event.
