Third Friday’s Downtown Lincoln to make a splash on July 20
Join an affordable water filled “Adventure Night” on the square

Put on your swimsuit and beat the summer heat with 3rd Friday’s Downtown Lincoln on Friday, July 20. Event organizers are planning water related activities for the next affordable family fun night, so don’t forget your swimwear and water shoes.

Fun and Games

There will be a fire hydrant sprinkler, a 65 foot inflatable obstacle course, and bouncy house with a slide—all for the kiddos. Adults can join in the fun with our adult tricycle course, and a bags tournament sponsored by the Alley-Bi Saloon and Spirited Republic. You’ll also find yard games including Jenga, Connect Four, and giant Kerplunk.

Live Music

Bring your own lawn chair and listen in to local musical favorite, Danny Tackett’s Chicken Pickin’ Orchestra. The band will perform on the corner of Kickapoo and Pulaski Streets.

The 3rd Friday’s Vendor Market will be located along Kickapoo Street and participating restaurants and vendors will position stands outside their businesses and along the square.

About 3rd Friday’s Downtown Lincoln

Lincoln’s 3rd Friday’s Downtown events are held on the third Friday’s of each month from June through September, with a total of four event dates in 2018. The event hours are 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will be located on the square. The market will be positioned on Kickapoo Street between Pekin and Pulaski Streets. Each event may call for different street closures. Streets will be blocked to thru traffic from 4-9 p.m.
