97th Annual Atlanta High School Alumni Banquet well attended

 

[June 11, 2018]   The 97th annual Atlanta High School Alumni Banquet was held Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Olympia South Grade School Gym in Atlanta, Illinois.

There were 137 guests present for the catered meal.

The following classes were honored: 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963 and 1968.

Guests were present from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Arkansas, Arizona, Texas and Tennessee.

Emma Lou Colaw Brandt, Class of 1941, received a gift for being the most mature graduate present. Marsha Ludlam Hindman, Class of 1968, received a gift for traveling the farthest. Bill Horn, Class of 1965, received a gift for the most consecutive banquets attended.

Bill and his wife Karen Tabor Horn, Class of 1966, have not missed a banquet since they graduated.

Next year’s banquet will be Saturday, May 25, 2019.
