San Jose Concert in the Park summer season starts June 24th

[June 22, 2018]    The first San Jose Concert in the Park performance of the summer season will be held at Pree Park, 200 South Second Street, in San Jose, on Sunday, June 24th.

The season begins with the toe-tapping music of ‘High Country Grass’ from Lewistown.

The group, led by farmer Art Jones, plays a variety of bluegrass music and there is always something for everyone. The group has played the Spoon River Festival at Lewistown, the New Salem Bluegrass Festival, the Bluegrass Festival in Oakford and many other area venues.

This is a free activity, food and concert and is open to everyone. Activities and food service begins at 5:00 pm and the concert begins promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather, the con- cert will be held at the San Jose United Methodist Church fellowship hall, located at 600 South First Street, San Jose.
