West Lincoln-Broadwell 7th grade volleyball team clinches Regional Championship

[March 01, 2018]    The streak is over! The WLB Lady Wolverines 7th grade volleyball team won their first regional title since 1993 on Wednesday night with a victory over Decatur LSA.

The Lady Wolverines won in two sets, 25-12 and 25-20 to clinch the Class 7-1A Regional 10 Championship.

"We were so excited to break the 25 year drought," said WLB coach Kim Heitzig.

WLB will now face the Hartsburg-Emden Stags on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Sectional 5 matchup. Hartem will host the match which is sure to be a thriller. The winner will advance to the IESA State Tournament.
