[March 01, 2018]    The Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team successfully defended their home court last night by defeating the visiting Lincoln Land Loggers 76-64. Four Lynx players scored in double digits to help the team improve to 22-5 on the year with one regular season game left on their schedule.

 

Sophomore guard Trayvon Tyler (Rockford) led all scorers with 18 points. Tyler also led the team in assists with seven. Sophomore forward Richard Simpkins (Carlock) scored 17 points and pulled down three rebounds. South Bend native Roland Austin had 14 points and a team-high six rebounds on the night. Freshman Edwin Rivera (Puerto Rico) went four-for-eight from the field and scored ten points in all.

The Lynx will play their final game of the regular season at home on Saturday when they host John Wood Community College at 3:00 PM.
