Logan County Master Gardeners to host Russel Allen Garden Day March 10th

[March 03, 2018]   LINCOLN - The University of Illinois Extension Logan County Master Gardeners will host Russel Allen Garden Day on Saturday, March 10, at the Meyers-Evans Student Center, Lincoln College.

Sessions will run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with registration from 8 to 8:45 am. The public is invited for this event that will feature various presentations related to gardening, as well as displays by area plant and gardening societies. The day is in honor of Russel Allen a Logan county Master Gardener volunteer alumnus.

At 11:30 a.m. the Keynote Speaker, Dr. G. Dennis Campbell, will discuss “Monarchs and Mussels and Mammoths- Oh My, A Look Behind the Curtain at Creekside.”

University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners volunteers and staff will present:

In addition, Greg and Mariah Anderson, from Triple M Farm will present From Food to Flowers in the first session group from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Registration fee is $15 in advance (before March 6) and $18 at the door.
