Hartsburg-Emden Volleyball athlete Lily Barry poses for a photo with her grandmother Lula Belle, and the seventh grade volleyball championship trophy last week. Barry, who is energetic with an infectious smile, is one of the stars of the Hartem team, and is on her way to becoming an international athlete. Barry has been participating in the Junior Olympics competitions for over a year and is half-way to making the Junior Olympics International Olympic Volleyball Team.

Barry will compete soon in the Spring Junior Olympic competitions, if she makes the cut, she will go on to the Winter Junior Olympics at the end of the year, and if she makes that cut, she'll be going international!
