Obituary
Ruth M. Knutilla, 82, of Lincoln,
passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at St.
Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March
28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home
with Rev. Mark Peters officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00
p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln.
Ruth M. Rajala was born on February 2, 1936, in
Ironwood, Mich., the daughter of Henry and Lillian
Grendahl Rajala. She was united in marriage to
Marvin E. Knutilla on September 17, 1955. He
survives.

Also surviving are her children:
Keith (Cynthia) Knutilla, Martin(Judy) Knutilla,
Lynn (Steven) Andersen, and Beth (James) Hoferitza;
one sister: LaVerne Grow; one brother: Kenneth
Rajala; nine grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one
sister: Betty Thacker.
Ruth was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Prospect
Heights, and the VFW Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
