Mount Pulaski Market Days shifts to Friday nights with 'Friday Night Street-fest and Vendor Market'

[May 01, 2018]    MOUNT PULASKI  - The City of Mount Pulaski, the Mount Pulaski Business Association, along with the Economic Development and Redevelopment Board would like to announce their Friday Night Street-fest and Vendor Market is starting on May 11, 2018 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and continuing the second Friday of the month until September. (June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14)

There will be children’s activities, various local vendors, delicious food, live music, plus much more! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a nice Friday night out in downtown Mount Pulaski.

The vendor market will start at 4:00 p.m. on the west side of the square (Washington Street) and will last until 8:00p.m. There will be eclectic vendors, antiques, and fresh produce (when available).

The new Mount Pulaski organization, the Hilltop Club, will be providing children’s activities. The Hilltop Club is an ambitious group and is very active in the community. Their mission is to help the community by raising funds for charitable purposes.

Justin Jones is the chairperson of the men’s group and Katie Jones is chairperson on the women’s group.

The Street-fest portion of the evening will start at 8:00 p.m. and will end at 10:00 p.m. Live music will be provided by the Wolf Crick Boys Band this month. From Buckhart, Illinois, Wolf Crick Boys play hardcore honkytonk music. Band members are Greg Patterson - Vocals & Rhythm Guitar, Scott Leach - Bass Guitar, Antone DeRocchi - Lead Guitar, Patrick Miller – Drums, Dooley - Lead Guitar, Schy Willmore – Fiddle.
