[May 10, 2018]    Brenden Eigenbrod would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Tuesday, driving in five runs on two hits to lead the Lincoln Railers past Morton 14-6. Eigenbrod's big day included a double in the third inning and a home run in the fifth inning.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Lincoln collected 12 hits and Morton had seven hits.

The Railers opened up scoring in the first inning. Colton Holliday grounded out, scoring one run.

Lincoln had a huge third inning, scoring eleven runs. Eigenbrod, Drew Singleton, Jordan Jacobs, Jack Eimer, Cameron Glick, and Noah Funk each had RBIs in the frame.

Funk, Eigenbrod and Holliday all had multiple hits for Lincoln. Funk was 3-for-4 from the plate for the Railers.

Eimer got the win for Lincoln. He surrendered four runs on four hits over four-and-a-third innings, striking out three and walking one. Dreyden Pozsgai threw two-and-two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
