Peggy Lee Wilham, 69, of Mount Pulaski, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 5, 2018 with her family by her side.

Peggy was born on April 5, 1949 in Princeton, to Leon and Maxine (Sloan) Schinzler. She married Donald R. Wilham on November 21, 1981. He survives in Mount Pulaski.

Also surviving is her daughter, Andrea (Karl) Bender of Williamsville, step-son, Michael Wilham of Peoria, AZ; two brothers, Glen Schinzler of Bethlehem, GA, and Jim (Sheree) Schinzler of Decatur; two sisters, Linda (Don) Yeakley of Decatur, and Debbie Nelson of Champaign; two grandchildren, Maebri and Kaesen Bender of Williamsville; and two step-granddaughters, Emily and Megan Wilham of Peoria, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy was The Assistant Bureau Chief for The Department of Human Services for The State of Illinois. She loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren; they are the reason that she retired.
