LCHS Scholarship Foundation announces awardees for 2018

[May 15, 2018]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation has been created to enrich lifelong learning programs and provide educational opportunities for LCHS students.

The Foundation provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for community educational programs not available through tax revenues. The Foundation is a non-profit, independent, tax exempt organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are business and professional members of the community with a commitment to education.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors met on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 and made their scholarship selections from student applications from the Senior Class of 2018.

Winners are:

The James E. Heinzel Scholarship (4 yrs @ ISU rate) will be awarded to Cade Martinez.

The Arthur and Luella Gimbel Scholarship ($5,000) will be awarded to Kylee Alexander.

The LeRoy Allison Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Bobbi Coziahr.

The Jason Jones Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Ryan Boyd.

The James B. Maxwell Educational Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Jayden Lawrence.

The Larry A. Hertzfeldt Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Eddie Combs.

The Vincent Beggs Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Aleck Bailey, Emma Cameron, Cierra Crowell, Jennifer Huynh, Eric Nguyen, Amber Oliver, Emma Ritterbush, Grace Skelton, and Emerie Wieber.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Carrie Benjamin, Tabitha Cooley, Erin Gowin, Autumn Hoffert, Carter McCraith, Blythe Neese, Kathryn Nobbe, Natalie Phillips, Alice Roate, and Justin Woods.

The Edna Dehner Memorial Scholarship ($500) will be awarded to Allena Benninger, Lauren Canady, Joy Chi, Alana Cosbey, Abagail Crowell, Alex Downing, Madisen Egnew, Jack Eimer, Kaelyn Froebe, Bryan Hay, Noah Henry, Haley Hicks, Jordan Jacobs, Blake Jones, Jacob Kirgan, Kelsey Lee, Kennedy Lolling, Morgan Lolling, Jacob McCray, Emily Messner, Mackenzie Murphy, Kathryn Newton, Taerynn Sablotny, Clayton Skelton, Ariana Spencer, Alexandria Taylor, and Ali Wilson.
