On Monday evening Lincoln Mayor Seth Goodman sought the advice and consent of the city council for the re-appointment of the current chiefs and department heads. His request was approved by an 8-0 vote. Serving the city for the next year will be Police Chief Paul Adams, Fire Chief Mark Miller, Street and Alley Superintendent Walt Landers and Building and Safety Officer Wes Woodhall. The four were then sworn into service by city attorney Blinn Bates. Afterward, all were congratulated by Mayor Goodman and by each alderman.
