Olympia FFA Participates at Pontiac Leadership Invitational

[May 22, 2018] 

On Friday March 23, the Olympia FFA took 10 members to the Pontiac Invitational.

The members included Anna Davis, Cody Gibson, Chloe Hilt, Josh Kindred, Dawson Banister, Lane Miller, Molly Schempp, Cavit Schempp, Kaylin Simpson, and Tyler Miller.

These members participated in six different events, which included prepared speaking, extemporaneous speaking, job interview, parliamentary procedure, quiz bowl, and the knowledge test.

The Parliamentary Procedure team consisted of Molly, Lane, Cody, Josh, Cavit, and Tyler.

Back-Cody Gibson, Josh Kindred, Dawson Banister, Front-Anna Davis, and Chloe Hilt

The members of quiz bowl included Dawson, Josh, Cody, Anna, and Chloe. Anna, Cody, and Lane participated in the knowledge test.

At the invite, many achievements were accomplished.

Cavit Schempp placed first in prepared speaking, with Kaylin Simpson following in second. Molly Schempp placed first in extemporaneous and second in job interview. Anna Davis received the highest score on the knowledge test.
