Logan
County 4-H has planned several summer youth programs that are free
of charge to attend.
4-H MYTHBUSTERS!
Can an onion charge an
iPod? Do horses sleep while standing up? Did you know Hawaii is
moving toward Japan by 4 inches every year? Breakout of the myths
with hands-on activities and unlock secrets behind Vet., Natural,
and Food Science as well as discover magic of electricity in the 4-H
Mythbusters program this summer. Open to ages 8 and older to attend.

4-H COOKING 101 CAMP
4-H is offering a two
day Cooking 101 Camp that will teach skills needed to prepare and
serve healthy snacks and meals. Join us to learn skills ranging from
how to crack an egg to, to measuring, to even planning your own
menu! Particicpants will be able to make and taste all the recipies
they create. Open to youth ages 8-13 on June 18 & 19 from 1-4 pm at
the Lincoln Public Library (Pegram Room).

AG ADVENTURES WITH QUEEN MEG
Logan County Fair Queen
Meg Meeker will host this program where youth will learn more about
different agricultural products through hands-on activities. “Ag in
the Classroom” is co-sponsor. Open to ages 7-14 on Monday, June 18th
from 10 – 11:30 am at the Logan County Extension Office.

to assure a spot! You may also contact the Logan County Extension
Office at 217-732-8289 or stop in at 980 N. Postville Dr., Lincoln,
IL (NW corner of Logan County Fairgrounds) to register if
interested.
