Daughters of the American
Revolution recognize local junior high and high school students

Three Logan County and one Mason County
high school seniors have been honored by the Abraham Lincoln Chapter
of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution
for selection by their respective schools as the annual DAR Good
Citizen of 2018.
These students were
recognized based on dependability, service, leadership and
patriotism.
Hayley Matson from
Hartem High School is the daughter of Amy Barger and Dustin Matson.
Ruth Lessen from
Lincoln Community High School is the daughter of Eldon and Martha
Lessen.
Corey Beccue from Mount
Pulaski High School is the son of Jeffrey and Jean Beccue.
Elli Johnson from
Illini Central High School is the daughter of Doug and Kristi
Johnson.

At the Junior High/ Middle School level the Abraham Lincoln Chapter
sponsored nine students to receive the Outstanding Work in American
History award.
