Community members are invited to join professor of the health and wellness sciences and author of seven books Dr. Frank Ardito at The ALMH Market for the season’s first free “Talk and Taste”. The author will host a wellness discussion and provide samples of three recipes from his cookbook The Self-Care Cookbook this Saturday, June 2 at 9:30am. Ten copies of his cookbook will be given away at the event.

Although walk-ins are welcome at the event, sample sizes are limited. Interested individuals are encouraged to sign up on the Facebook event page at www. facebook.com/thealmhmarket,  or by calling 217-605-5701. This Saturday is also featuring our $1,000 free token giveaway inviting attendees to spin the wheel to win tokens and other prizes.

As the premiere indoor, producer-only market in central Illinois, The ALMH Market has become a wellness destination like no other. The producer-only designation ensures that all items offered at The ALMH Market are homegrown, handmade, and/or vendor-created from locally owned operations within the state of Illinois. Free admission, free parking, and several free activities take place at The Market including free health screenings and the kid-friendly Power of Produce Club and a LINK card matching program.
