Lincoln Christian Church welcomes Gene Appel this weekend

On Sunday, November 4th, Lincoln Christian Church will be hosting Gene Appel, formerly of Lincoln, and currently Senior Pastor of Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim, California as their special guest speaker to kick off the church’s Legacy Maker series. The title of Gene Appel’s message is “The Decisions We Make Define Our Legacy.”

Gene Appel is currently Senior Pastor of Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim, California which averages over 7,000 people in weekly attendance with church campuses in Anaheim, La Habra, and Bellflower, California, and Park Rapids, Minnesota. Eastside was named the second fastest growing church in the country according to Outreach Magazine.

Gene is a graduate of Lincoln Community High School and Lincoln Christian University. He has previously ministered in Las Vegas, Nevada and South Barrington, Illinois. Appel’s father, the late Leon Appel, was minister at Lincoln Christian Church from 1950-1970.

Appel will be preaching at all four of Lincoln Christian Church's Sunday worship services: The 8:15 a.m. traditional service in the the Sanctuary and 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. contemporary worship services in the Fellowship Center. Everyone is welcome to attend!
