This
Veteran's Day weekend, Bill Donath was quite
busy. On Friday he delivered a presentation to
students at West Lincoln-Broadwell School,
themed around World War I and the book Donath
wrote about the contributions of the Logan
County citizens in supporting the war effort.

The
communityOn Sunday afternoon, Donath was the
guest speaker for the Armistice Day 100-Year
Celebration held at the Depot and hosted by the
Logan County Tourism Bureau, Logan County
Veterans Assistance Commission and the Military
Order of the Purple Heart. Included in his
presentation was a copy of the "Logan County
World War Honor Roll."
The Depot event event was very well attended
with more than 80 guests, many of whom were
veterans coming to the observance.

the past several years, the ALMH Employee
Activity Committee has conducted a
Thanksgiving basket drive to collect items
that will help local families in need during
the Thanksgiving holiday. The baskets
include every item necessary to prepare a
family’s Thanksgiving feast. Tuesday,
14 such baskets were delivered to the Logan
County Food Pantry.
