[November 19, 2018]  Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital earned national recognition for overall excellence in patient satisfaction and outcomes among all rural hospitals in the nation.

Announced on National Rural Health Day (Nov. 15), The Chartis Center of Rural Health and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) recognized the nonprofit hospital and other top-performing rural hospitals with their annual Performance Leadership Awards.

“At Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, we have a vision to be a national leader for excellence in patient care. Awards like the Performance Leadership provide us an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary work being done each day by our dedicated staff, physicians and volunteers,” said Dolan Dalpoas, president and CEO of ALMH. “We are grateful for the recognition and for the support of our community. And we will continue our dedication to excellence as we improve the health of the people and communities we serve.”

The Performance Leadership Awards spotlight top performance in the areas of quality, outcomes and patient perspective.

“National Rural Health Day provides the ideal opportunity to spotlight the power of rural and recognize those facilities excelling in quality, patient satisfaction and outcomes,” said Michael Topchik, national leader, The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “We’re thrilled to partner with NOSORH on this program and commend this year’s recipients who are working diligently to provide quality care within their communities.”
