LINCOLN

This is an emergency call from Illinois American Water.

Illinois American Water has issued a boil water order for all our customers in the Lincoln District, effective immediately.
The boil order is due a power outage at our water treatment plant that has caused decreased water pressures throughout the water distribution system.

Customers should bring their tap water to a rolling boil for five minutes before using water for drinking or cooking. Water is OK for bathing, washing, or other common uses.
