Lincoln Taekwondo participate in Midwest Open Taekwondo Championship

[November 26, 2018]    Results of competitors from Lincoln Taekwondo in Lincoln, Illinois who participated in the Midwest Open Taekwondo Championship held November 17th and 18th, 2018 at The Church of the Nazarene in Decatur, Illinois…The event was hosted by Grand Master Joshua Sharp.

Grand Master Sharp conducted a very well organized tournament with participants from throughout the United States. There was a very high level of competition in a variety of styles. All were tough!

Five 1st places
Three 2nd places
Three 3rd places

Six out of seven Lincoln competitors who participated in Olympic Style Sparring Competition resulted in four 1st places and one 2nd place and one 3rd place. Five of our seven competitors participating in Forms Competition resulted in one 1st places, two 2nd places and two 3rd places in their respective divisions. Sydney Phan won the Overall Youth Forms Grand Champion.
