| Two Associate Circuit Judges 
			appointed in the Eleventh Judicial CircuitServing Ford, Livingston, Logan, McLean

			Chief Judge Mark Fellheimer has been notified by the Illinois 
			Supreme Court that Scott Kording and Scott Black have been appointed 
			as Associate Circuit Judges in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit 
			pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 39. 
 The Eleventh Judicial Circuit encompasses Ford, Livingston, Logan, 
			McLean and Woodford Counties. The positions become vacant following 
			the December 5, 2018 retirement of Associate Judges David W. Butler 
			and Le Ann Hill.
 
 Mr. Kording is of Bloomington, Illinois. He obtained his 
			undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and received his 
			law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2005. 
			His is currently attorney at the law firm of Meyer Capel.
 
 Upon being notified of the appointment by the vote of the Circuit 
			Judges, Mr. Kording stated, “It was humbling to receive word of my 
			appointment to Bench. I love the law and have greatly enjoyed the 
			private practice of it. I will certainly miss my clients and law 
			firm colleagues. For this honor and the opportunity to serve the

Mr. Black is also of Bloomington, Illinois. He obtained his undergraduate degree 
from the University of Illinois and his law degree also from the University of 
Illinois College of Law in 1989. His is currently employed with the Illinois 
Attorney General’s Office. 
 
Chief Judge Fellheimer said, “On behalf of all of the judges of the 11th 
Judicial Circuit, I sincerely thank Judges Butler and Hill for their years of 
service to the citizens of the 11th Circuit and wish them the best of luck in 
their future endeavors. I also welcome Mr. Kording and Mr. Black to the bench. 
With the breadth and depth of experience that Mr. Kording and Mr. Black bring to 
the bench, we look forward to their service as judges in our circuit. Both of 
these individuals are bright, talented and respected. We look forward to serving 
with them and are confident they will be good servants of the law.”
 The newly selected judges will be sworn in at separate ceremonies with dates and
