Vet-Con debuts this weekend at Cronin Brothers VFW

LINCOLN 

On Saturday, October 13th The Cronin Brothers VFW and Primary Colours Retro Relics will be hosting a new event for the Lincoln-Logan County Community.

Vet-Con will be a fundraiser event with proceeds going to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight. The day will begin at 10 a.m. and run through 9 p.m.

The event will have free admission with vendor and food sales going on inside. All proceeds from the event will go to the Honor Flight.

During the day visitors can expect some great activities including a chance to interact Kevin Duhaney who is best known as Ethan James, The Blue DinoThunder Ranger.

Other activities on Saturday include:

  • Twenty vendor tables offering video games , comics and toys.

  • Food concessions by the Bob Graue Marine Corp League

  • Silent auction with gift items donated by the local community.

  • Mario Kart in Goldeneye 64 & GoldenEye 64 tourney

  • A costume contest

Vet-Con is the nerd's way to celebrate our freedoms and to give back to the Veterans that have fought for those freedoms.

The Honor Flight program is a nationwide network dedicated to providing all veterans who apply, a free trip to Washington DC to visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice. You can make donations and learn more about the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight at LandofLincolnHonorFlight.Org.
