LINCOLN
The Lincoln Rotary Club is providing “Books for Kindergarten Kids”
once again this school year.
Money is provided to the classroom teachers to purchase books
appropriate for their students. These books are given to the
students to read at school and to be taken home to be read with
family members.
The schools that are involved in this project are Lincoln District
#27, Chester-East Lincoln, West Lincoln-Broadwell, Carroll Catholic,
Zion Lutheran, and New Holland-Middletown. This year there are 211
students in the six school districts the club is working with. This
year, the teachers receive with six dollars per student, a total of
$1266.

While this may seem to be a small amount we hope it will lead these students in
finding out how much fun reading can be and encourage them to continue reading
by themselves or with a family member.
Funds for this project come from citrus sales and other fund raising activities
of the Lincoln Rotary Club.
