[October 17, 2018]  LINCOLN - Margaret Fern Rogers, 86, passed away at 6:44 a.m. on Monday October 8, 2018 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday October 19, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 20, 2018 at Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln

Obituary

Margaret Fern Rogers, 86, passed away at 6:44 a.m. on Monday October 8, 2018 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.

Margaret was born on June 8, 1932 in Lincoln, daughter of Joseph Theodore and Sarah Annette (Simms) Bailey. She married Paul Huston “Beez” Rogers on May 12, 1951 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2014.

Surviving Margaret are her children: Jeffrey L. (Elaine) Rogers of Springfield, Jay R. (Debra) Rogers of Mount Pulaski and Joy L. Rogers of Lincoln; six grandchildren: Scott (Michelle) Rogers, Jessica, Brittany (Cole) Sharp, Chelsea (Jeremy) Sheetinger, Joshua, and Andrew; four great grandchildren: Henry, Brooks, Cooper, and Charlee. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Glenn and Charles Bailey, and two sisters: Catherine Phyllis Allers and Evelyn L. Johnston.

Margaret was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.

Graveside services for Margaret will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 20, 2018 at Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln with Gayle Cyrulik officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday October 19, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Memorials may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or The American Diabetes Association.
