Mount Pulaski Honeybears basketball sweeps Lincoln Junior High School - Alexis Wade scores her 1,000th point

[October 26, 2018]    Alexis Wade needed 22 points to reach the elite milestone of 1,000 points going into Thursday night's game versus Lincoln Junior High School and the eighth grade Honeybear accomplished that feat with a basket in the fourth quarter.

Alexis Wade is surrounded by her teammates, all smiling and happy following the win. Wade scored her 1,000th career point versus Lincoln Junior High School in the 58-23 victory.

Wade scored 10 points in the first half, 10 points in the third quarter, and with anticipation building, she reached the goal of 1,000 points in the fourth quarter and finished the night with 22 points.

Wade led all scorers with 22 points as Mount Pulaski's eighth grade team won 58-23 over Lincoln Junior High School. Hailee Daigh scored 19 points for Mount Pulaski.

The Honeybears eighth grade record is 12-3.

Mount Pulaski's seventh grade team also won 44-10 over Lincoln Junior High School. Grace Davis led Mount Pulaski with 15 points.

The Honeybears seventh grade record is 15-2.
