As the days of October wind down, the ‘Pink’ pictures are still coming in. Today we up the total number posted per day to eight in the hopes of getting all the photos posted by the end of the month. Frankly though, it doesn't look like we will make it, again. What we will make is an upped goal to feature 100 photos and 1,000 people. It's overwhelming to see all this community participation driven by an outpouring of love for those who are battling breast cancer.

On Thursday evening, Lincoln Youth Football League Director Wesley Fuchs recognized all the volunteers, plus two outstanding adults who work tirelessly to help lead and support the youth program. Annette Jones (right) was named the 2018 Volunteer of the Year and Sean Ferguson (left) was named the 2018 Coach of the Year. Fuchs presented the special designees with a plaque during the Thursday evening football practice, the last of the year.
