Sam Redding honored for 50 years of service in the field of

- This week, Academic Development Institute (ADI) recognized its
founder and past Executive Director, Dr. Sam Redding, for 50 years
of service in the field of education.
Dr. Redding was recognized with an inscribed globe,
representing his world-wide career, and a luncheon.
Dr. Redding began his educational work in Leroy,
teaching a special education classroom. He also served as the Dean
of Lincoln College before beginning his own non-profit business, ADI,
in Lincoln, in 1984.
Dr. Redding has travelled all over the United States
working from the classroom to state departments of education. He was
chosen by the U.S. Department of Education to travel to Japan to
present ideas on school improvement. He has also worked in Puerto
Rico and most recently, in the Virgin Islands.

He is pictured with an educator in the Virgin Islands
from a recent trip working on the Virgin Island Department of
Educationís system of support to their schools.
Dr. Redding has received cards and emails from all
over the country congratulating him on this milestone.
