The Lady Toppers perfect record was still
intact following two wins Friday night at the Mount Pulaski Fall
Festival Tournament. The Lady Toppers took out Fulton by a score
of 25-17 and 25-23 and Macomb 18-25, 25-13 and 15-8 on Friday
night to improve to 8-0 to start the season.
Saturday Mount Pulaski suffered their first losses of the season
after first knocking off Lincoln 25-17 and 25-16. The Lady
Toppers then fell to Newark 25-17 and 25-19 and to the overall
tournament champions, Lena-Winslow, by scores of 25-18, 21-25
and 15-8.
The Lady Toppers record is now 9-2 on the season.
Skylar Hayes and Abigail Fitzpatrick were named to the Fall
Festival All Tournament Team.
