Weekly Wrap-up – LCHS Girls Tennis

[September 19, 2018]    The LCHS girls tennis team saw a 9-0 loss to Pekin in a home match this week. “Their school enrollment is over twice the size of Lincoln, and that does make a difference,” commented Coach Jan Dickerson. “We were outdone at all positions, even though we fought well.”

At the eight-team Titan Invite on Saturday in Chatham, the Railers won two Consolation draws (1 loss, 2 wins) at #1 Doubles with Maggie Hanger and Madi Koeher, and #2 Singles with Bailee Pineda, giving Lincoln a 6th place overall. The #2 Doubles team of Kendall Heft and Miranda Nelson also added to Lincoln’s point total with a win in their second round.
