Lincoln Community Theater seeks Director and other support staff for upcoming season

LINCOLN 

Lincoln Community Theatre is looking for talented people to form the creative teams for their 2019 productions of A Grand Night for Singing, On Golden Pond and Shrek the Musical.

On Golden Pond staff includes:

Artistic Director, Technical Director (Set Design and Construction),

Light Design and Operation, Sound Design and Operation (if needed.)


A Grand Night for Singing and Shrek staff includes:

All of the above positions plus Conductor,

Musical Accompanist, Choreographer, and Vocal Director.

2019 Season

A Grand Night for Singing
June 6-9, 2019
Rehearsals begin April 2019

On Golden Pond
June 27-30, 2019
Rehearsals begin May 2019

Shrek the Musical
July 25-28, 2019
Rehearsals begin June 2019

A scheduled six-week rehearsal period plus one week of tech in the theatre prior to performances is required, by policy. All performances are in the Johnston Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Lincoln College. Auditions and callbacks for all three shows will be held on Saturday - Sunday March 30-31, 2019.

The LCT Board of Directors will interview for these positions by appointment on Sunday, October 21st, 2018, from 1-5 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 402 Pekin St, Lincoln, IL 62656. Directors may include staff personnel to assist them in presenting ideas regarding sets, costumes, special effects of other technical advice. Musical accompanists will be requested to perform a short selection which best displays their talents.
