[April 06, 2019]  Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-18) announced today that the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois located in Lincoln is the recipient of a $3,479,739 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

This award will benefit the Head Start and Early Head Start programs of the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois.

I applaud the Trump Administration for recognizing the great social service work that CAPCIL provides across central Illinois. Not only will this grant build upon the current initiatives CAPCIL is executing within our communities by helping empower individuals and families with low income, but it will also help jumpstart new innovative strategies to implement poverty-fighting resources, stated Rep. LaHood.
