Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital is providing a free education
event for people with diabetes mellitus and their family and
friends. Participants can attend meetings the third Friday of each
month in the Wombacher Room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln.
The conversation on April 19 at 11am will be centered on
incorporating more activity into daily life. Beginning a safe
exercise program can improve blood sugar and fitness levels. The
casual meetings are free and do not require registration. Jennifer
DiPasquale, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator,
leads the conversation and share information.
“The diabetes support group is a great opportunity to get practical
and timely information about how to manage your diabetes,”
DiPasquale said. Family members, friends, and caregivers are also
welcome to attend the meetings.
