St. Joseph-Ogden routes Lincoln 17-2

The Lincoln Railsplitters traveled to St. Joseph-Ogden on Wednesday and it was the Spartans getting a 17-2 win in the four-inning affair.

 

The Spartans were on the board early with a first inning home run. They added a single run in the second inning before exploding for eleven runs in the third inning. Four more runs in the fourth inning by the Spartans put Lincoln back on the bus for an early ride home.

 

Lincoln did score runs in the third and fourth innings. An RBI single by Sydney Sutherland scored Lincoln's first run. Lincoln had four singles in the third inning but an inning-ending double play dashed the Railsplitters hopes for more runs.

 

Sydney Worth's sacrifice fly in the fourth inning scored Bayleigh Gillum. The Railsplitters fall 17-2 to St. Joseph-Ogden. 

 

Abbie Glenn took the loss for Lincoln.
