[April 11, 2019]  Memorial Medical Center announced its spring sessions for a program designed to help students and community members learn more about healthcare careers.

The free program, Hands-On Healthcare, launched in September 2017 and is offered in partnership with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Hands-On HealthCare meets at least monthly. Sessions for the spring are nursing, 6 to 8 p.m. May 2; rehabilitation services, 6 to 8 p.m. June 11; and laboratory services, 2 to 4 p.m. July 22.

Registration for each class opens 30 days before the class date. The May class is now taking registrations. Each session has a limit of 40 participants.
