Student council members from four central Illinois high schools got a close up look at college, as well as advice from student leaders at Lincoln College on Friday, April 5, when the Illinois Association of Student Councils CENOIS (Central Illinois) District held a “Challenge Yourself” meeting and workshop.

Students from Olympia, Riverton, Glenwood and Taylorville conducted a series of team and character building exercises on the second floor of University Hall. Student leaders from Lincoln College shared their college experiences with the students, offering advice on what to expect and what they wished they had known before coming to college.

The student council workshops were held in historic University Hall, which is currently undergoing renovation for eventual use once again as classroom space.
