Olympia’s Schempp and Litwiller
Elected Section 9 FFA Officers

On Wednesday, April 17th, Section 9 FFA officer elections were held
at Prairie Central High School in Fairbury.
Olympia FFA was well represented as Molly Schempp was elected
Section President and Josie Litwiller was elected Section Sentinel.
Schempp is the daughter of Darin and Cindy Schempp of rural Atlanta.
She will be pursuing a degree in Agricultural Education at either
the University of Illinois or Joliet Junior College this fall.
Litwiller is the daughter of Greg and Sue Litwiller of rural
Mackinaw. She will be a senior at Olympia High School this fall and
is also serving as a Chapter Vice President.

Members are elected by popular vote and each school in the section
has two voting delegates.
This will be Schempp’s third year serving as a Section 9 Officer.
She stated, “I can’t wait to serve another year in the blue and gold
FFA jacket, especially with Josie!” Olympia FFA Advisor, Bryce
Hoffman stated, “I’m really proud of these two dedicated FFA
members. I know they will provide excellent leadership for the FFA
members of Section 9.”

Other Section 9 FFA Officers elected included: Vice President-Lauren
Mohr of Normal West, Reporter-Cole Neubauer of Tri-Valley,
Secretary-Maddie Kraft of Normal Community, and Treasurer-Devin Snow
of Flanagan.
