Emergency agencies respond to a
report of train vs pedestrian southwest of Lincoln on Sunday morning

Mid-Sunday morning emergency response teams were called out to the
southwest side of Lincoln. With Lincoln Rural Fire Department as the
lead, Logan
County Paramedics and other agencies responded to a possible train
vs
pedestrian incident. Emergency vehicles were positioned along the
rail line
at South Kickapoo/College Street intersection, Lake Street, and
crews
searched southward to the area near the north entry of Madigan State
Park.
Amtrak passenger rail traffic resumed at 11:22 a.m.
