[August 07, 2019]  On Sunday afternoon, Best of Show awards were handed out in the Textiles Department at the Logan County Fair. Each winning entry received a Best of Show ribbon and a monetary award from the category sponsor.

Phyliss Martin
Phyliss is the fairs most seasoned stitcher, and has been doing entries in the Textiles for nearly 50 years, if not just a little more. Once again this year, she won Best of Show in four categories!

Janice unfolded her quilt for all to see. It was made up of t-shirts featuring Country Western Music Stars. Janice said that she had about 30 of the shirts and used most of them for her quilt. What she has left, she plans to make pillows to go with the quilt.
