Memorial Medical Center announces
sessions for Hands-On Healthcare program through fall

Memorial Medical Center will hold four sessions of its free program
designed to help students and community members learn more about
healthcare careers.
The program, Hands-On HealthCare, meets at least monthly. The next
sessions are medical imaging, 6-8 p.m. Aug. 28; perioperative
services, 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11; medical education, 6-8 p.m. Oct. 14;
and nursing, 6-8 p.m. Nov. 13.
Registration for each class opens 30 days before the class date. The
August class is now taking registrations. Each session has a limit
of 40 participants.
Except for the medical education session, all classes will be held
in Room 2B of the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation, 228
W. Miller St. The medical education class will be held at SIU School
of Medicine, 801 N. Rutledge St.

Hands-On Healthcare launched in September 2017 and is offered in partnership
with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmation
email will include documents that require a parent's or guardian's signature if
the participant is 18 years old or younger.
