Each year St. Clara’s Rehab & Senior Care holds a fair-week queen crowning during the Logan County Fair. This year was the first year to have the newly crowned Logan County Fair Queen participate! The entire facility was so excited for this event!

There were three contestants, each one representing her “neighborhood” at St. Clara’s, based on the three wings of the building.

Theresa Cox represented the Cedar/Mahogany neighborhood and won 1st runner up.

Jackie Petty represented the Maple/Walnut neighborhood and won Ms. Congeniality.

Shirley Stuart, representing Birch/Oak neighborhood was officially crowned Ms. St. Clara 2019!

“Oh my heaven’s!” Exclaimed Stuart as she was announced the winner.

Once crowned, she then took a “queen walk” through a hall lined with St. Clara’s staff cheering her all the way.

The contestants were chosen by staff from each wing. Staff, residents and family members had the opportunity to vote all week.

St. Clara’s wants to give a very special thank you to the Miss Logan County 2019 Queen, Skye Kretzinger and Logan County Fair Queen Director, Bethany Rademaker for assisting with this very special event.
