Lillie and Liz Helton headed to Bosnia for World Kickboxing competition
Fundraiser this Saturday to help raise expense money

[August 29, 2019]   LINCOLN - Lillie and Liz Helton have been selected for the honor of representing TEAM USA at the World Kickboxing Championships to be held October 19th through 27th in Bosnia.

A fundraiser to assist the pair with their travel and competition expenses will be held in Lincoln at the Eagles Lodge on Saturday, August 31st from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The day will include a lot of fun activities for all from boxing for kids to face painting. There will be inflatables and a dunk tank as well.

Other attractions at the event will include music with DJ Yatty Eli, silent auction, bake sale, and raffles.

Raffle items will include donations from Studio Zin Tattoo, TK’s Grill, Café’ Billiards, 74K Photography, Uncommon Etching, and Top Hat Creamery to name a few.

Also, look for special guests Tamikka “Boom Boom” Brents and Mario Canon. And at some time during the day, someone will take a Pie in the Face for the cause!

Lillie is a native of Lincoln, the daughter of Debbie StorEy, her partner Liz is from Bloomington. The couple now resides in St. Louis, where they have undergone rigorous training for the upcoming competition.

The communities support for the duo will be greatly appreciated.
