Veteran Brent Carlock gave a presentation about his time serving in the military as an information system analyst and shared his experiences in boot camp, advanced individual training, and choosing which position in the military to pursue. The club discussed the importance of Veteran's Day and completed a ceremonial folding of the flag and each fold.

Cloverbuds learned about the geologist profession, the three different kinds of rocks, and the process from crinoid to coal. Each of the little ones got to break open their own geode and see the wonderful crystals inside. Mandy Cordray, an amateur geologist from CAC Rocks and Artifacts, showed us her incredible rock, artifact, and fossil collection. We were able to see and touch many kinds of gemstones, crystals, and fossils.
